At IKIGAILEATHER we are artisans.
We make leather products by hand. Here you can browse from among our designs and choose the item which best fits your needs and, if you can't find it, we can make it for you. You will find bags, accessories, and leather accessories. All our models are original and designed exclusively in our IKIGAI Workshop. Making and buying handicrafts implies certain values and ethics; it means fostering a tradition of manual craftsmanship and keeping artisanal production techniques and materials alive. In short, by choosing IKIGAILEATHER, you choose to support a way of doing things steeped in experience, knowledge, and devotion to craft.

THE IKIGAILEATHER ETHOS
We could choose to work with cheaper, inferior grains of leather, or with leather of lower quality, but at IKIGAILEATHER we make the conscious decision to work with full grain leather of the highest quality. Why? Because it is the best material in the world. We could also use pre-designed patterns gleaned from other designers, but we prefer to fashion our own models and develop our own unique signature and style. Or we could manufacture our products in locations which afford lower production costs, but we choose to work in our local workshop in Girona. And we could mimic current fashions and trends; however, we prefer to craft timeless and durable pieces you won’t need to replace for years to come. Maybe we shouldn’t be such perfectionists and obsess over details - that would save us a lot of money! But then you wouldn't get that indescribable feeling of wearing a handcrafted, made-to-order item. We could open our door to investors so we expand rapidly; but then we wouldn’t be free to choose to do all of the above.
